Kamila Wolszczak in Wroclaw (south west Poland):
‘It is a children’s pop-up gallery in public space. The idea came form my artistic and art mediation experiences on public space. This proposal is a chance to create young design in rural, invisible places in the city. Objects from children’s pockets and our surrounding transform and become art objects. Let’s treat children’s imagination serious and all together design something what we want to care of and engage as much people as possible. Always important is the context of our district, size of our gallery, height of our artists and audience and responsibility of our decisions. We ask ourselves how to expose our treasures and how to tell our stories about objects together? I believe that one day I will create with kids a pop-up guide tour through the city, dedicated to all kids, short persons and pets!’
